The idea behind this story comes from cult sci-fi author Jennifer Kirk, who is a fan and occasional contributor of ideas to The Life of Nob T. Mouse. We had been discussing the idea of lotteries and how they are skewed toward the house always winning at the expense of the consumer. Add in Spam’s constant desire to “get rich quick” and you have the makings of a Nob Mouse strip right there.
Monday’s comic will be another Series Three episode because I’m finding a lot of my time is currently being usurped by NaNoWriMo.
