His life’s work

Merry Christmas; or midwinter festival of your choice, should you happen to be someone who does not wish to celebrate Christmas.  It’s no problem to me if you don’t want to celebrate it.  I ‘celebrate’ Christmas as a time when family and friends get together to exchange gifts as a token of their appreciation for one-another, but then again I’m an aetheist living in secular Britain so most one-religious ceremonies have been stripped of all their original meaning.  Different ideas for a more modern time, that’s what I say.

Anyway, you might be surprised to see this comic went up on Christmas Day rather than Boxing Day, which would be the normally-scheduled time for it.  That’s because I felt it was more in tune with Christmas than Boxing Day.  There’s no other reason for the change in schedule, I just felt it worked better going up the day before.

Speaking of a change in schedules, from now on the main comics will be Series Three comics.  I’m not shutting down production of the longer, Series Two stories but they will now be less frequent.  At present I’m planning on wheeling them out as regular annual ‘specials’ in March, September, October (Halloween) and December (Christmas).  Outside of these times there may be the occasional Series Two story but in the main you can expect regular Series Three strips on Mondays and Fridays.  I hope this will still be to your liking and feel free to leave a comment whether you like the idea or not.

Finally, from Nob & the gang, Jenny and myself: have a happy holiday season!
