This episode came from calls to see more of the characters from Series One who have yet to appear in Series Two and Three, save for a brief appearance in a crowd scene back near the start of Pie Noon. I therefore threw together a homage to strange conversations I had in the pub when I was a student the first time ’round; reading Physics at the University of Durham.
I had some pretty odd conversations with friends back then, at one time calculating the probability of all the bottles in one bar’s ‘fridge magically appearing on our table. The probability was too close to zero to warrant us sitting around and waiting for it to happen, so we had to order another round instead.
