The Scary House, part one

It has taken a while to get back on track with The Life of Nob T. Mouse and for that I apologise.  September turned into quite a hectic month and I’m glad it is all over.  From hard work on my final assignment for the law course I was doing (Open University course W200 – hi to everyone who has just finished it) to revision and then the exam for the same course (good luck for when the results come out, those who took the exam!) and everything in between, including my 28th birthday (good grief, I feel like I’m getting old).  It has been one distraction after another, keeping me away from my pencils and paper, preventing me from bringing the absurd tales of Nob Mouse and friends to you.

That is all over now, however.  I hope to be back on track with this, the first episode of what may become an annual Scary Story for Halloween, like the Christmas stories in the run up to the annual celebration of CapitalismChristmas.  I hope you like it but if you don’t, you need not worry; it’s a short story.
